Flavours and Fillings

All of the cakes at Cakes by Melia are freshly baked in my kitchen for every order and are available in a delicious variety of flavours.

I use my own special recipes, using only the finest ingredients, real fruit to flavour cakes and take considerable care and attention to ensure that my cakes are always fresh, moist and tasty.

Please note for wedding cakes that each tier can be a different flavour. See below for my flavour options:

Classic Victoria sponge
Layered with raspberry preserve and vanilla buttercream. Covered with white chocolate ganache to give a smooth finish & fondant icing.

Lemon Sponge
Filled with lemon curd and layered with white chocolate ganache. Covered with white chocolate ganache to give a smooth finish & fondant icing.

Chocolate sponge
Filled with chocolate buttercream and layered with dark chocolate ganache. Covered with dark chocolate ganache to give a smooth finish & fondant icing.

Carrot Cake
Layered with cream cheese. Covered with white chocolate ganache to give a smooth finish & fondant icing.

Fruit Cake
Covered with marzipan & icing.
